Welcome to Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics.  We are the fastest growing treatment center for prosthetics, orthotics and pedorthics on the West coast.  We now have six locations for the convenience of our clients - Chula Vista, Calexico, Escondido, Riverside and San Diego, CA, and Yuma, AZ.  Ability meets and exceeds all standards and guidelines established for O&P providers as set by managed health care and government agencies.  Our successful patient outcomes are unsurpassed, though we continue to improve ourselves through further education and industry product certification. Our Mission

Ability's goal is to provide patients with the finest care and the very latest in high technology services and products.  Established in 1993, Ability is co-owned by Justin Norton, certified prosthetist, and Tony Mendoza, Board Certified Orthotist.  Ability offers a wide range of prosthetic and orthotic devices, as can be seen on our "Services" pages.

Justin is a graduate of Northwestern Medical School, Chicago, IL., and has been a certified prosthetist since 1993.  He has had extensive training from the top manufacturers and prosthetists that expands upon his original training that began in 1968.  The results of Justin's many years of experience as a prosthetist and as an amputee himself have resulted in the production of the "Justin Socket".

Tony Mendoza is considered one of the most highly skilled orthotists & prosthetic technicians in the U.S..  He attended the University of Baja California and Southwestern College.  Tony has been trained by the top manufacturers, and specializes in above-knee socket evaluations as well as upper extremity treatments and pediatric applications.
